Safe removal of asbestos
DECO can safely and properly secure asbestos liabilities as part of a larger demolition project or on its own in selective remediation projects.
When we encounter asbestos on a project, our well-trained and certified asbestos remediation team members remove and dispose of the material as mandated by the EPA, our most stringent regulatory agency. Although the government banned the manufacture of asbestos in the U.S. in the late 70s, it continues to be imported and used in many building projects.
Other potentially harmful materials
Examples of other potentially harmful materials associated with demolition projects we have the training and experience to recover and remove include:
- Lead building components
- Oils and hydraulic fluids
- Freon and refrigerants
- Contaminated soil
- And more
DECO has the training and experience to safely remove asbestos and other potentially harmful materials encountered during demolition.
The government sets strict guidelines for the safe recovery and disposal of potentially harmful or hazardous materials, and we have the experience and knowledge to meet and exceed those safety standards.
